Building Information Model
Building Information Modelling (BIM) is a sophisticated three dimensional (3D) computer model which represents in huge detail every element of a building. The BIM model is interactive and works 'intellegently'. For example, if say one element of the structural design is changed, the model can automatically make corresponding changes not just to the rest of the structure but to all other relevant parts of the building.
