Supporting Cool FM’s 800 Mile Ride From Paris to Banbridge for Cash for Kids

Metal Technology proudly supported Pete, Paulo and Rebecca from Cool FM as they took on an incredible charity cycle from Paris to Banbridge in aid of Cash for Kids. The team set off from Paris on Monday 7th September, cycling 800 miles before reaching Banbridge on Saturday 12th.

And it’s not just the distance that made this challenge impressive. Along the route, they tackled around 10,000m of climbing – equivalent to more than 11.5 times the height of Slieve Donard, or roughly 100 times the height of the famous Harland & Wolff cranes! All while raising money for a fantastic cause.
Cash for Kids, the official charity of Bauer Media Group, supports disadvantaged children and young people across the UK, helping where support is needed most – from tackling poverty, illness and neglect to supporting children with additional needs and families facing difficult circumstances. It was a huge challenge, but one that will make a real difference to children and families across the UK. We’re very appreciative for every contribution.
