The £36m ‘Live Active Blairgowrie’, delivered for Perth & Kinross Council, is Scotland’s first Passivhaus-certified leisure facility. The centre features a 25m swimming pool, a four-court sports hall, and a state-of-the-art fitness suite, setting new standards in sustainable leisure design.
Metal Technology’s Passive House aluminium glazing systems were installed by Linn-Tech Scotland for BAM Construction and Hub East Central Scotland. It’s fantastic to see this high-quality, low energy leisure facility open for the local community to enjoy, delivering exceptional energy efficiency, significantly reducing carbon emissions, and ensuring a comfortable, healthy indoor environment.
