State-of-the-art Stockport Interchange recently opened to the public in an historic and landmark moment for Stockport. Designed by The Harris Partnership and delivered by Willmott Dixon, the completion of the multi-million-pound modern transport interchange marks a key milestone in the £1billion town centre regeneration and has transformed Stockport’s skyline. The development features 18 bus stands that allows for 164 departures an hour, with the aim to make Stockport one of the best-connected places in Greater Manchester.

The landmark project sits beneath Viaduct Park, a new two-acre rooftop park with dedicated walk and cycle paths and also The Interchange, a 14-storey residential development with 196 high quality apartments for which the following Metal Technology Ltd systems were installed via approved fabricator RED Systems: System 5-35Hi+ Tilt and turn window system, System 17 Curtain Walling and System 10-35 Hi+ Doors.
